Web-based Data Management & Reporting
In support of our Enterprise Asset Inventory and data hosting services, Asset Inventories has developed a set of proprietary web-based inventory reporting and management tools offered as add-on services exclusively through the Asset Inventories Web Portal.
Real-time Inventory Reporting
For Enterprise Asset Inventory clients, the Web Portal can provide 24 x 7 real-time access to inventory data, reporting, and inventory team progress, with almost unlimited custom report options. Reporting can include but is not limited to:
- Total Assets by Building
- Total Assets by Floor
- Total Assets by Cost Center
- Total Assets by User
- Total Assets by Type
- Ownership Reporting (client vs. vendor)
- Location Exception Reports
- Site Status (Complete, In progress, Pending)
- New vs. Existing Assets in the environment (when leveraging existing data sets)
- New vs. Existing Employees
- Expected vs. Actual Asset and Budget Reporting
- Multiple Monitors per location
- Condition Reporting
- Status Reporting
- Compliance Reporting (when leveraging internal scan data)
- Disposal Reporting (when leveraging existing data sets)
- Reconciliation Reporting (when leveraging existing data sets)
Web-based Inventory Collection
Asset Inventories also offers web-based inventory collection services using our proprietary best-in-class inventory repository and web-based front end via the Web Portal. Our rapid-development Web Portal allows us to quickly and simply customize our web-based inventory module to suit any customer’s needs, allowing local IT staff – or even end-users themselves – to collect and manage their inventories.
Often during Enterprise Asset Inventory projects prominent locations and large sites are given the most thorough attention, but remote or small sites, where the cost is greater and data return smaller, are sometimes overlooked for the sake of expediency. The Web Portal’s remote collection capability is a cost effective answer for those remote sites, allowing a level of accuracy well beyond the normal IT-level or user-level inventory.
Data Hosting
The Asset Inventories data repository is a proprietary asset management repository built specifically by us, for us, for the distributed inventory, data normalization, and asset reconciliation that makes up our core business. We also offer this power and functionality to our customers as a hosting platform, allowing them to manage their inventory and asset data in their own private and secure data instances, regardless of whether or not we collected the data.
IRIS – The Worldwide Data Nexus
The asset repository, code-named IRIS, is the nexus of our entire worldwide data infrastructure. All data collected around the world by Asset Inventories technicians and/or products loads into IRIS via internet load, handheld scanners, and direct database loads, to be scrutinized, scrubbed, and normalized by our team of data technicians. Data can also be pushed from IRIS back out to the field teams around the world for real-time corrections, exceptions, and updates.
Additionally, IRIS has a powerful reconciliation engine that can easily be customized for the needs of specific customers, as well as a powerful web-based reporting module that allows clients to view their data/reconciliations in real-time.
